These are the available order rule actions for the Shopify NS8 Protectâ„¢ (formerly Complete Storefront Protection) implementation.

  • Set order risk to 'high' - This action will change the NS8 Status field to 'Cancel'. This action will not automatically request SMS verification. The order will be placed on hold until you either Cancel or Approve the order.
  • Set order risk to 'medium' - This action will change the NS8 Status field to 'Investigate'. This action will not automatically request SMS verification. The order will be placed on hold until you either Cancel or Approve the order.
  • Whitelist - This action will change the NS8 Status field to 'Approved', and if the order is on hold, it will remove the hold status.
  • SMS check order - This action will change the NS8 Status field to 'Investigate'. This action will automatically request SMS verification. The order will be placed on hold until you either Cancel or Approve the order.
  • Cancel, refund, and restock order (for orders that do not auto-fulfill) - This action will change the NS8 Status field to 'Cancel'. The cancellation of the order will be passed to Shopify and processed using your settings within the Shopify platform. Shopify's help center has more information on how the order fulfillment process works.
