Order rule actions

Apply order rule actions for each ecommerce platform.

Magento

These are the available order rule actions for the Magento NS8 implementation. To configure these actions, go to the Order Rules page.

Important

To use an order rule to put an order on hold, use the additional feature in Magento. Under Action to Take, select Put Order on Hold. Any order rule that you use will put an order in Magento's Holded status.

  • Set recommendation to investigate: Changes the NS8 Status field and Recommendation to Investigate. It does not automatically request SMS verification. The order is also held if Put Order on Hold" is turned on.
  • Set recommendation to Cancel: Changes the NS8 Status field and Recommendation to Cancel. The order is also held if Put Order on Hold is turned on.
  • Set recommendation to Accept: Changes the NS8 Status field and Recommendation to Accept. The order is also held if Put Order on Hold is turned on.
  • Set recommendation to Investigate and SMS check order: Changes the NS8 Status field and Recommendation to Investigate. This action will automatically request SMS verification. The order is also held if Put Order on Hold is turned on.
  • Approve Order: Changes the NS8 Status field to Approved. It also removes the Magento “Holded” status on a pending order and makes it available for fulfillment.
  • Cancel Order: This action changes the NS8 Status field to Cancel and changes the Magento status to Holded. You'll still need to cancel the order in Magento.

PrestaShop

The following order rule actions are available for the PrestaShop NS8 implementation. To configure these actions, go to the Order Rules page.

  • High risk - Set recommendation to Cancel: Changes the NS8 Status field to Cancel. This action will not automatically request SMS verification. The order is put on hold until you cancel or approve it.
  • Medium risk - set recommendation to Investigate: Changes the NS8 Status field to Investigate. This action will not automatically request SMS Verification. The order is put on hold until you cancel or approve it.
  • Whitelist - accept order: Changes the NS8 Status field to Accept. The order is put on hold until you cancel or approve it.
  • SMS check order: Changes the NS8 Status field to Investigate. This action automatically requests SMS verification. The order is put on hold pending SMS verification results unless you approve or cancel it.

WooCommerce

The following actions are available for the WooCommerce NS8 implementation. To configure these actions, go to the Order Rules page.

  • Set Recommendation to Investigate: Changes the NS8 Status field and Recommendation to Investigate. This action will not automatically request SMS verification. The order is put on hold until you cancel or approve it.
  • Set Recommendation to Cancel: Changes the NS8 Status field to Cancel and sets the Recommendation to Cancel. The order is put on hold until you cancel or approve it.
  • Set Recommendation to Accept: Changes the NS8 Status field and Recommendation to Accept.
  • Set recommendation to Investigate and SMS check order: Changes the NS8 Status and Recommendation to Investigate. This action automatically requests SMS verification. The order is put on hold pending SMS Verification results unless you cancel or approve it.
  • Approve Order: Changes the NS8 Status field to Approved. The order is put on hold until you cancel or approve it.
  • Cancel Order: Changes the NS8 Status field to Cancel. The order is put on hold until you cancel or approve it.
