Having an order log was a popular request among many of our merchants using v1 of NS8 Protect. This functionality helps provide an audit trail to check which actions have been taken and see if each step is being performed correctly for the processing of an order.
This is especially important for merchants who were using multiple third-party systems or more complex order rules to manage their order workflow, as sometimes orders would have several steps between the checkout and fulfillment that need to be tracked carefully.
- added: Added an order log tab so merchants can see if/when any of the following actions were taken: NS8 Risk/NS8 status changed, Request for customer verification sent, Results for customer verification checks, and Order Approved/Cancelled.
- added: As well as displaying which actions have been taken, the log also shows who initiated each step: eCommerce Platform (e.g. Shopify), NS8, Order Rules, Merchant, and Customer.
